I am working on different AI projects for Voice, Sound, Speech, and Images. Google Cloud AI Speech recognition and Image content analysis is the most useful AI API that I have worked with. Benefits are Auto machine learning, easy to train your modules so as the interface is easy to understand, response is quick. That's what we know Google for. Quick and Quality.
  • Easy to Train your model
  • Auto machine learning
  • Vetrex is Cool
  • Support wide range of platforms
  • My billing account keeps suspending cause of Indian Mendate. So that's the only thing that is frustrating to me.
Google Images analysis model is a good one and I think is very useful in our case of detections. Speech AI is also a good one. I can only recommend Google Cloud AI API and the model for that second will be SpeechKit by Yandex both these tools have exceptional values one can utilise to enhance their projects.
  • Speech Recognition
  • Image Analysis
  • It's all good not that expensive.
  • I am using many cloud APIs from Roadmetrix to AI all of them are more than what I am spending.
These are basic tools although useful, you can't simply ignore them or say they are not good. These tools also have their own values. But, Yes, Google is an advanced one, A king in the field of offering a wide range of tools, quality, speed, easy to use, automation, prebuild, and cost-effective make them a leader and differentiate them from others.

We use the AutoML Natural Language part of the Google Cloud AI products. The NLP processor offered helps us understand user intent, sentiment, and perform other analysis on raw text received through multiple frontends for some of our experimental products. We also use the Cloud Vision API for street sign recognition, surveying, among other uses of converting text in images to text our backend can process and catalog.
  • New products - Google is constantly releasing and adding new products to this API, it seems to be on of the fastest-growing products for this.
  • Speed - The API is a lot faster than most of the alternative Computer Vision and general-use Machine Learning APIs out there.
  • Comprehensive results - The results the API returns for most of the products don't require recurring API requests for processing. Everything is included and organized exactly in the JSON response as mentioned in their documentation for most of these Cloud AI products.
  • The documentation format for this API is much better than some of Google's other documentation.
  • Hard to find what to use - To find the right products, you need look closely at the details of each API, and find which suits your purposes. This can be easily fixed by creating a main page that details all of the products simply.
  • Expensive - The API costs can quickly add up, especially during the setup process and as engineers figure out the usage of the API.
  • No playground or training - There is a lack of an "API playground" or training sessions that could make onboarding engineers to this API much easier.
Google Cloud AI is a wonderful product for companies that are looking to offset AI and ML processing power to cloud APIs, and specific Machine Learning use cases to APIs as well. For companies that are looking for very specific, customized ML capabilities that require lots of fine-tuning, it may be better to do this sort of processing through open-source libraries locally, to offset the costs that your company might incur through this API usage.
  • Positive - We offset the processing power we needed locally by moving Cloud Vision and ML processing to cloud APIs.
  • Negative - Pricing. This was expensive to setup at the beginning, but later, the price of this API became more constant.
  • Negative - There was quite a difficult learning curve for this product, one that took a lot of time to figure out.
Google's documentation for their AI and Machine Learning products is a bit more straightforward and still much easier to onboard into compared to the Azure Machine Learning and other AI products. Additionally, Google's Cloud AI products provide more comprehensive specific use-cases that are API-optimized, and easier to integrate into existing scripts and backends.

Some of the Google Cloud AI solutions are being used across the entire organization. We started using the translate function in Legal, Finance, and our global offices. Many of the team were not happy about the change in our Gmail, which we use globally with the new smart version of the inbox with smart reply, but now we really like it. I use it every day. We also use the voice search quite a bit in Google search, and it seems better than competitors.
  • Smart reply and its AI suggestions make the organization think more carefully about their e-mail responses in Gmail. We were skeptical at first but it really works well for many instances.
  • We do a lot of business and contracts in Western Europe and South America, so the translate solutions make this much easier for our banking paperwork.
  • When we go to meetings or during a meeting, we often use the Google voice search to save time on research and filtering ideas or analysis.
  • It is great that it helps shortcut and boost productivity, but AI is very much in infancy so it comes back with some crazy responses.
  • Not sure how secure the Google Cloud AI is with fraudsters and cybercriminals. Not that we have seen compromises, but building trust all of the time is crucial.
  • I always support the need for more training, procedures or on the spot tips for cloud applications. This would make it more seamless, especially since tech is changing so rapidly. It's hard to keep up, so we all need some help to make it 'smoother'.
Everyday work, e.g. e-mailing, research, connectivity during and in transit to meetings, is excellent for using the cloud AI tools and solutions. The more one uses it, the easier it becomes. Our organization is just scraping the surface of the AI tools, and we want to be full in. This will take change management on our side, and more immersion.
  • Artificial intelligence and automation seems 'free' and draws the organization in, without seeming to spend a lot of funds. A positive impact, but who is actually tracking the cost?
  • We want our employees to use it, but many resist technology or are scared of it, so we need a way to make them feel more comfortable with the AI.
  • The ROI seems positive since we are full in with Google, and the tools come along with the functionality.
Google cloud AI stacks up comprehensively and competitively with other tech providers. Their scientists are smarter, make bigger leaps forward in design, and they are always cutting edge in methods to boost productivity and skip to the next generation. We need machine AI, as we can't afford to do it ourselves and need to use products and solutions like this to come up with new ideas so we can expand our business success.
